Digital Art

My practice is a personal study into Korean heritage and how it interacts with contemporary digital illustration. My process begins with transforming ancestral motifs into circle mandalas, highlighting the overlap of the analog and digital worlds. I take the storied symbolism of Minhwa, the meditative ritual of tea culture, and the palettes of traditional hanbok fabric, and express them in a new contemporary language. I am continuously exploring the flow of time, the beauty of Korean culture, and philosophy, while honoring the wisdom of the past and embracing the evolving possibilities of the digital future. With the changing times, the beauty of Korean culture and tradition doesn't become outdated or something only of the past; it continues to have a great influence on beauty today globally.
